FFEA – Students who are interested in becoming teachers.

Human Resources Council

Builders Club – It no secret that student achievement is directly related to a student’s motivation to do well in school. The earlier a student learns the important lessons of hard work, helping others and personal growth, the greater the emotional development he/she will attain. Student members get opportunities to learn and develop leadership skills through operation of a service club. Members of a local Kiwanis club also work with the builders club. If you are interested please contact Ms. Cox-Morris.

Student Council – Student council is a medium for exchanging ideas that are helpful to the student body and for promoting the growth of student participation in school administration. Student Council jobs will be to maintain school spirit, assist in directing and managing student activities and uphold school traditions. If you are interested please contact Ms. Augustin.

Newsletter Club – Are you interested in writing for the school paper. This club is open to all students. Meetings will take place every other Thursday from 2:55 pm until 4:30 pm. The goal of the newsletter is to give all students the opportunity to write for the DBMS paper. The newsletter will inform students, parents, and teachers what is going on and what has happened at DBMS.

Multimedia Club – Delivers campus news using a teleprompter and green screen effect. Campus news is used to keep everyone informed of all events taking place at DBMS using start of the art technology. News is then published and posted to the website
www.deerfieldbeachmiddle.com for later viewing. The Advisor and Students produce the show, write the scripts, etc. Create and produce commercials promoting various events at DBMS. We meet Monday - Thursday from 2:55 to 4:00 pm. If you are interested please contact Mr. Daniel.

Yearbook Club - The yearbook club meetings are held every Thursday. The yearbook club is responsible for creating the school yearbook. Students and advisor are responsible for taking photos and creating layouts for a lifetime of memories at Deerfield Beach Middle School. The club is form in September and meet until the yearbook is completed. For more information please contact Mr. Daniel
